The worst experience I've ever had with a company. I was lied to over and over again. When I asked to speak to the manager, he treated me like it was my fault, and I was asked to take my business elsewhere. Please don't waste your money here. They will make sure to take you for every cent they can.
Has anybody on this site experienced unethical business practices from River City RV? I traded in a 2012 Wildwood in June for a 2013 Heartland North Trail. River City was supposed to pay off the Wildwood effective immediately but it took them two months to do so. In the meantime I had to make two more payments on a trailer I didn't even own! Josh (the manager) as well as the salesman that sold me the new trailer assured me that I would be getting a full refund, so I wasn't too concerned about it. However when no check came I contacted their finance department and the lady there told me that Josh had no right to tell me I'd be getting a refund. They agreed that ETHICALLY they felt they should send me the money, but according to the LAW they werent required to do so, so they weren't going to. WHAT? I called Josh back and he again assured me I'd get a refund. Then the finance department called me back and said no, the law says they don't have to. To say I'm upset and sorry I did business with them is an understatement. I think future customers should know about this. When it comes to ethical business practices, they don't stand by their promises.
